Around October 2003 I came across Maxpages.com and I started my first wrestling based website. The site was called WWE Knockout. It was all done by page builder and the hosting sucked but for my first site I was proud. The site didn’t last a year but was really popular. WWE Knockout closed late 2003 or early 2004 (I forgot Hehe).
Around this time I met someone from Kashamedia’s tag board. His name was Vageli; he was also a site builder and was starting a diva site. I told him about my problem of not finding a good and free host that’s when he mentioned the advanced free webs. He told me about Lissaexplains.com there I was taught most of the HTML I know (the rest I just learned by experimenting). I re-started wwe knockout with a new name, wwe dream.
While starting that I started my now successful site ‘Rebel By Design’. Rebel By Design Opened February 13, 2005. Rebel by Design quickly became popular and I was learning fast with graphics, music video making, and how to handle a site. WWE Dream closed short after Rebel By Design opened.
A few months after WWE Dream closed I heard about Alexis Laree (Mickie’s most known name) in the KashaMedia Forum. A match of her was posted and at first I didn’t take much acknowledgement of it and I didn’t care, but after a few day I realized how popular the topic had become so I thought to myself ‘lets see what the big huff is all about’ I downloaded the match and right away fell in love with the character Alexis Laree.
After that I wanted to know everything about her! I went to site after site learning everything I could learn. While searching and learning about her I felt that I had never been so interested in a wrestler ever! So after a little reassurance from Vageli he agreed that it would be a great idea to attempt to make a fan site!
That’s how this all started. I wasn’t sure of a name at first so I asked Vageli he thought of the first name which was Laree-Online. I started the site. I go information started graphics est. Even a photo gallery after being talked into by Vageli. The site was ready for opening but I decide to wait for wwe to make the move and call Alexis up. One morning when I turned on my Aim my good friend Mike messaged me and flipped out he said something like ‘OMG ALEXIS AND CM PUNK ARE GOING TO DEBUT ON SUNDAY NIGHT HEAT’! I flipped out and worked like crazy on Laree-Online that week, only to find out the match was pulled from the show. I was very disappointed! I read more into the pulled match and found out that wwe didn’t call Mickie, Alexis.
That when the thought hit me. What’s the point in having the site called Laree-Online if Mickie night not even be called Alexis Laree? I had feelings that the name Laree-Online was to typical anyway so I decided to change the name. I thought about it for a few days then thought about ‘The New Extreme’ The sites slogan was already ‘A whole new meaning to the word Extreme’, So the site name made lots of since. I changed the site name and the look several times before picking one look that fit well.
Althought my first plan was to wait for WWE to debut Mickie around begining of September 05 I couldn't wait any longer so on September 2nd The New Extreme opened to the public. The site quickily became popular.
Mickie along with the other good girls of the wwe were able to pull the win this time in a Backlash 12 diva rematch!
